My FAVORITE type of apples are called "Big Jon's" no relation to Jonathans.
There is only one person who grows them in the US and I am very fortunate
they come to the Farmer's Market close to where I live! These are fantastic
apples!!!! Big, tart-sweet, hold up well for baking, perfect for pies!!
