I hate to contradict you but there was a very
interesting documentary about Krakatoa earlier this
year which said that, while its eruption during the
19th Century was huge, its previous eruption was the
"world's largest volcanic eruption", in the 14th
Century, which was also heard in China, and that all
the particulate matter that was sent into the air
caused the mini Ice Age that Europe and North America
experienced during that century. They labeled
Krakatoa the most dangerous volcano in the world.

Me, I say ALL volcanos are dangerous and should be
kept at a distance.
