[Sca-cooks] cutting corn

Ok- my two cents.

Corn tastes yummiest on the cob, with lots of salt and pepper and real butter!

However, I understand that corn is not easily digested when eaten as a
vegetable. No surprise, as it is a grain! As a grain it gets along with
tummies much better.

So, when corn finally made it's way back to Europe, how did they eat it (if
they did)- as vegetable, or as grain?
