[Sca-cooks] Old in the SCA, was Hollywood gays

You know, that really upsets me. I just can't believe that anyone in the
SCA would treat people in such a fashion!! But then, I guess I've seen
other prejudices exercised on occasion, so that shouldn't surprise me. It's
just a pity that she didn't get to participate on a kingdom level so that
she could see that the local group consisted of a bunch of ignoramuses!!!
After all, I think Queen Alys Katherine might welcome her with open arms,
being the oldest Queen ever to sit a throne in the SCA!!

And I believe that it is incumbent upon all of us that whenever we see
someone being discriminated against because of their age, physical status,
sexual orientation, color or whatever, to point out to that person that they
are not only behaving in a manner not in keeping with what we purport to
be/do, but that they may well be in violation of federal anti-discrimatory
laws.
