[Sca-cooks] Finding "period" Apples

Thanks for the pointer.

Applesource.com appears to carry the Calville Blanc D'Hiver and the Winter
Pearmain (they have White Winter Pearmain - the same?.  I'll have to put in
an order when it's time.  If I'm really lucky I'll be able to talk my wife
into planting a period variety in the back yard (though I'm not holding my
breath).

Side note:  I noticed a variety on your list called "Sops of Wine".  Could
this have been a precursor to the modern "Winesap"?
