For those who keep track of this kind of thing, the USDA recommends
reheating leftovers to 160F for safety.  They also declare that
reheating more than once is unsafe.  The recommendation is to reheat
only as much as you intend to serve and eat.  This is
restaurant/institutional guidelines for health and food safety.

Now, THAT SAID, there is nothing like that chili/stew/red sauce after
reheating it the third and fourth time!  The intensity of flavors is
something to behold after the fermentation or whatever goes on that USDA
doesn't want institutions to risk  :o)
