I wouldn't put cinnamon in a peach pie.

I think cinnamon may often be in apple pie, but i don't think that
without it the pie is inedible. It just isn't a requirement.

I think that cinnamon is grossly overused in American baking. There
are so many baked goods i don't buy because they reek of cinnamon -
especially all sorts of fruit scones. I mean, do blackberry scones
really require cinnamon? I think not!

Anyway, just my opinion.
