For those who are interested in aspects of period religion and religious
personae, I have a group that focuses on this as I believe that trying to
take religion out of the middle ages is like trying to take water out of
rain. For those who are interested, hop on over to the Academy of Hagia
Sophia, for discussion of period religion, on subjects including but not
limited to theology, art and iconography, music, hagiography, dress and
social customs, sex, politics and religion, crusades and jihads. (It is not
affiliated with any particular religious viewpoint.)

To subscribe, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Hagia_Sophia
and select your subscription and delivery options. I look forward to some
interesting and enlightening discussions, and hope that you can join us.

Food content: Did you know that Jennifer Patterson, half of the revered Two
Fat Ladies, died on the feast day of St Laurence, patron saint of cooks?
