70 quarts of peaches in less than 2 days? Wow!!! I am
impressed. The most Mom and I ever did was 21 quarts
of apricots in one day. And we were so tired
afterwards that we weren't able to can again for a
week. And peaches are more difficult to can than
apricots, as they need to be pealed. Usually our
apricot tree provides us with about 28 quarts of
apricots, but last year, we canned 35 quarts, which we
did in about two weeks, as our canner only holds 7
quart jars. I also did 7 pints of blackberries.
