Lainie asked about the Bush fire situation in Australia.

Giles (Mark Calderwood) is in the fire zone - when I last e'd with him
(Sunday night) the bush fires were just 10 kilometers away from his home.
Waiting to hear from him to know if he's currently okay (or if he's had to
evacuate out of the area) - will let you know as soon as I know what's
happening...

On a related note - the Lochac 12th night event was to be held within the
area that is currently "Fire zone" - I haven't yet heard if the site has
been consumed by the flame or spared but I have heard that alternative venue
arrangements are being hastily put together by the autocrating team

There's also bush fires in the Canberra area now - Mel & Drake's home zone -
