[Sca-cooks] onions, allergies, and allium family?

Some Japanese cooking, as well.

As I understand it, while some alliums are used, they are considered a
bit vulgar, and Temple Cooking, a specialty in itself, uses none, for
the reasons mentioned below.

That's practically  the only cooking I do without them!
