I concure with Helewyse de Birkestad.

Currants, aka raisins of corinth, raisins of courance, and various
other spellings.

Dried currants are little raisins, anyway, not dried "fresh"
currants, which i gather don't dry well...

PS:
from another message: "raisins of the sun" i am guessing, as was
assumed by the poster, to be what we Americans call "raisins". One
might bear in mind that in French, "raisin" means "grape", so
modifiers are used to distinguish the dried from the fresh.
