The Hudson? I agree, rapidly flowing tidal rivers aren't conducive to
rock skipping, which is the reason I didn't quote them.

And we may, indeed, be feeling a bit more defensive than normal. Which
is probably more our problem than yours, but do, please, bear with us.

Stefan, come join me under a nice big rock in Ft. Tryon Park! We'll look
at the Hudson, we'll go to the Cloisters, we'll start feeling medieval
again...
