Are you doing Atkins? The induction phase is 20 gr carb...last I knew ;-)
I can manage about 45-55 gr a day and still maintain a miniscule loss - at
this point in time I am more concerned with blood glucose than anything
else!
The 'wortes' recipes are all for cooked frondy stuff, not raw...at least the
ones I am thinking of.
Well, as to the pies, remember - we still have a whole series of foods like
icelandic chicken, pig newton, and many 'great pies' where you don't
actually eat the pastry covering/coffins [or at least the debate is still on
so we can take advantage of it ;-)]and Atkins carries a low carb breading
crumb stuff...as well as various mixes - expert foods carries notSugar and
notStarch which are fiber combos designed to texturize in place of sugar or
starch. The notStarch makes a great thickener in place of bread crumbs in
caboges, bukenades and fricasses...
