INteresting.  I bet this sauce is amazingly rich in calcium for us gals.

Any old vinegar should work, as long as it's strong.  Remember the old story
about Cleopatra dissolving the pearls in vinegar and drinking them?

Quail bones are really tiny.  I'd guess that chicken bones, even "Rock
Cornish Game Hens" would take longer to dissolve.  Maybe longer than Cleo's
pearls...
