   Pennsic 20, getting an AoA - remembered in the midst of my stupefaction
that I was supposed to be making coffee for Duke Olaf at King Anton's
request... and the grounds in the pot were all there were in camp. "The
coffee!" swirling skirts, dash for the back of Court, running out amid gales
of laughter. Turned out they didn't want anything for Olaf - it was a ruse
so they could say they called me out of the kitchen.

Sneaky Royals. If they had any idea of how terrified of Coleman burners I
was....

(Coincidentally and really cool, first-time King Stephan and Queen Niobe of
the West (? Caid?)were guests at that Atlantian Court - years later, they
were the King and Queen of Atlantia who gave me my Pelican - and (now Duke)
Anton who'd tricked me into the kitchen was the one who spoke for the
Chivalry. None of us realized until after the day that it had been
foreshadowed so long ago.)
