I can probably take a picture of the barn. In theory the third floor is for
the Baronial/Guild stuff. Master Chirhart is the Steward for the Barony.
The first floor is an armory/jewlery/other stuff space, the second is for
rock and gem cutting and carpentry and some storage. It doesn't always work
out like that though, especially in event season. Mostly the bins seem to
sit in the house or on the first floor of the barn because they are so used.

Things are kept in rubbermaid totes for the most part. The bins are
numbered and there is a list in each tote as to what and how many is to be
in the tote. There is a master list too. For events, certain things are
re-packed so lots of extra stuff isn't taken along. In that case, new,
temporary, lists are made for the bins. Part of the planning process is to
decide what to plate the food on/in. The pewter pitchers are in plastic
bags and carried in milk crates. We also have a large spice box, I think 3
or 4 five gallon liquid dispensers (the orange things). The pots, pans and
woks are stacked and wrapped in plastic bags. There are totes dedicated to
towels and hotmits, one for cleaning supplies and a fire extinguisher (I
think it's still there) and we also have a first aide kit. We even carry
extra aprons for volunteers. Next feast I shall make a point of taking
pictures if anyone is that interested.

Oh. If you are cooking outdoors in a pit or grill, I might suggest you go
to a roofing supply place and buying their hardwood charcoal in 50 pound
bags. It burns nice and clean and is very inexpensive. It's also cheap
enough to make it practical to carry to Pennsic.
