I'm not "Our Selene"? Snif. :,,,-(
I do try to be careful about signing my posts clearly. I understand
there is at least one other Selene in the SCA, one Duchess Selene of the
Sky, but I do not know if she plays anymore. We could really mess with
people's heads and visit the Barony of Seleone...
Three Syllables. I pronounce my first name "Sell-Uh-Nee" after Isaac
Asimov [novel, THE GODS THEMSELVES] and various pagan author friends in
Britain who also pronounce it that way. I had the name before Mercedes
Lackey started publishing novels featuring a Queen Selenay, over which
we've had a laugh or two; ML says that Jared had better get back to
fighter practice and make it come true. Herald-Queen of Caid? Could
happen!

If he wins, the Caidan listies will be mighty tempted to come to Aten
Coronation. Whether this is an encouragement or a warning, I'm not
sure.
Selene in Caid
