My husband and I have been discussing that point. I found whole wheat
KfP matzoh and bought it for him. Part of my never-ending struggle to
get him to eat more whole grains. He was surprised that it was
available, because it wasn't "plain." I argued that it *is* plain,
because there is nothing flavored about it. In fact, I think it is
*more* plain than the stuff made with highly refined flour, which until
relatively recently had been a more specialized ingredient. So, what do
strict interpretations say about WW matzoh? I've never noticed KfP
matzoh in flavors like onion or egg, presumably for the reason you
stated. I have seen chocolate coated ones, though. I guess they reason
that it *is* a plain matzoh, the chocolate is just a condiment like
cream cheese or butter.
