"Mostly a lot of various paintings/illuminations of feasting scenes.
Lutrell
Psalter, etc. I haven't gotten as far into etiquette boks as I should.
There is actually, a lot of good information on tablesetting in the first
part of Fabulous Feasts. My husband always says we should tear the book
apart where it switches to recipes and throw the back part away."

Even better in table setting is a book by Henisch, Bridget Ann. Titled, "
Fast and Feast." published by University Park: Penn State Press, 1976.
Scully's, "The Art of Cookery in the Middle Ages" also has quite a good bit
of info. The Fabulous Feasts has great pictures, but some of her text is a
little over-generalized and not always accurate when compared to primary
sources.

I did a comppilation recently on quite a few of the Etiquette writings as
well as the Feast service and set ups. If anyone would like the outline or
source list, I will gladly email it.
