[Sca-cooks] Tornadoes in Maryland

I'm doing my darnedest...and when you need me, you know I'm here!  Yes, it
was a tremendous storm, taking out over 60% of the businesses in La Plata.
The damage was tremendous.  And, though this wasn't the first tornado that
has gone through southern Maryland, it was, I believe, the worst.  In the
20's one tore through LaPlata that did considerable damage, so this is the
second one that has flattened that town.  We looked at a map last night that
tracked the tornado through Calvert County, and it looks like it came within
a couple of miles of us....very, very scary!!!  So I'm very grateful to be
around, at this point.

And VERY grateful for all of the good wishes that you all have been
sending!!
