I couldn't resist sending this rave from our Kingdom elist along as well,
these folks were lucky enough to eat on Saturday night, too!

  I only have one word to say about the Saturday A&S feast...

  "zabaglone"....

My favorite is "trout" - holy cow, that was wonderful. I'm so glad he webbed
those recipes, I'll probably use them here at home.... I couldn't have that
zabaglone, unfortunately, but it smelled very good, and Emmachia came over
and nabbed what our table didn't eat. She looked like she might lick the
bowl clean, in fact.
  <snip>
  The feasts alone were well worth the site fee, and probably $5-10 more
besides.
  Thank you, fra niccolo and Signora Serena!

Easily so. We ended up having to leave at least a day early, since Meg
wasn't tolerating the heat well, and it was still worth it for that glorious
feast. Oh, the trout. Oh, the pork tenderloin with pomegranate sauce! Oh,
the olives, the polenta, the chicken, the beans! Fantastic - and yes, Yves,
easily worth more than $100 a head, in labor alone.

Margaret Northwode, truly sad that she missed Sun. nite feast.
