OK, quick point... veganism is a form of vegetarianism where the person
does not eat any animal product, including dairy, eggs, and honey.  If
someone eats those things, they are vegetarian but not vegan.  It's
important to get your terms right... if someone calls you a month before
the event and says they're vegan, and you say you can cater for them
because you're confused and you think they eat eggs and stuff, it will
reflect badly on the cook.
