They are a cultural icon, on the order of the Big Mac, rather than good
food.  Cars, cruising and cheap greasy hamburgers by the sackful.

And as with the Big Mac, if you grew up eating them, sometimes nothing else
will do.  Strangely enough, White Castle hamburgers now come frozen.  We
find them here in Oklahoma at WalMart.
