I did a second one and did it in layers. I have a ring of dried flowers,
when that hardened I did a layer of bay leaves, another layer of dried
flowers and last I did a layer of coffee beans. The trouble I had with the
coffee beans is that they turned the layer kinda brownish (duh) and I
realize that if I do this again I should soak the beans in several changes
of water before using them. It's kinda working though. I was going for the
earth effect with the brown at the bottom so I suppose I got earth and mud.
Oh well, it will be the best one at Cruasades I suppose.
Olwen who gives thanks for the nice mould.
