I returned from Known World Bards and Cooks in Ealdormere late Saturday
night.
One of the sessions was ably hosted by THLady Gwen Catrin von Berlin who
flew in to be at the event from the Outlands.
She did "Minding Your Peas and Cukes" which featured the
vegetable recipes out of Rumpoldt. This was a practical hands on session
taught in the kitchen that involved the participants choosing which
vegetable recipe they would like to work on. The choice was a huge head
of cabbage stuffed with birds and veal. Very entertaining and
interesting.
Her website is at:
http://clem.mscd.edu/~grasse/GKContents1.htm She'll be putting more of
her translations up there or contact her directly at
grasse at mscd.edu for more information and ideas.
