I bake bacon all the time.  I really don't like fried bacon cuz it gets too
crispy and burned for my taste.  I actually rinse off the bacon then put it
on a slotted tray above a pan.  In the bottom pan I put a bit of water to
keep the drippings from smoking up the place.  I cook at about 300 for
probably 20 minutes but I have never actually kept track of the time.  I
just know I can make a pot of coffee, peel and cut fruit and arrange on a
platter, make french toast and two omlettes and put the dog out during cook
time.
