At camp House Blackstar there is a bell. A decorative, brass, LOUD, bell.
It accompanies the call for breakfast. Don't get me wrong. I *like*
breakfast...at 10! Not at 8. One year Alainne and her girlfriend came to
their first Pennsic and got me into trouble by making me take them partying
all night and we came back to the tent and began howling over DingDongs or
somesuch. Well, we were pretty lit and tried to shush each other down at
which point I said something about the breakfast cooks (which I do not
recall but Julianna the breakfast cook does). Well...next morning Julianna
stood right outside my tent and gave that bell all it was worth!
Olwen who still didn't get up
