Don't know what a 'witchety grub' is, but I have had cow. I am very naieve when it comes to most food.
Actually, I have had deer, squirrel, rabbit, pigeon, squab, eel, turtle, quail and tons of shark. In fact, 20 or so yrs ago, I invented several recipes for the Florida game and fish department to distribute in the seafood shops; from smoked shark pate' to 'raw shark marinated in key lime juice'. Can't remember what it is called, but the Cubans do a similar dish with barracuda (and NOT shark tartar, hehe).
