Everyone,
I asked my sister-in-law(who is Filipino) about Balut and how it is
made. Here's what she said:
>Balut is traditionally made with duck eggs. The egg is harvested when the
>chick embryo is in its early stage of development. The egg is then boiled
>in brine (salt water). When it is done cooking, the egg is opened and its
