[Sca-cooks] Eating pets, surprising guests

OK, this is another instance of what I'd consider child abuse. Stories like
this tempt me to want to serve these people up bits of their own pets and/or
relatives, but it's not fair to the dinner item.

OTOH, sometimes the story takes a happier turn. I visited a friend's farm
for a couple ofr weeks one summer, and one damned mouthy little cockerel
insisted on letting my know the sun was thinking about rising every morning.
Before I left, we had fried chicken, and my portion was part of the mouthy
little feathered nuisance ;-) Best chicken I'd ever had ;-)

Phlip (living well is the ONLY revenge).
