I've been putting together an "exotic" spice kit for my parents Christmas
present, and decided to dry my own chilis. My insane kitten got into them
as they were cooling on the counter, and ate his way through 2 or 3 before
I managed to pack them up. He *loved* them.
To keep this semi-on-topic, so far I have cinnamon sticks, dried chilis and
lime leaves. What are some other, good spices available in Chinese and
Indian markets that I could include? I've got a more extensive spice
cabinet then they do, so I'm including taste tested recipes as well.
