[Sca-cooks] White Gingerbread Help

I'm having another thought train derailment...
Somewhere I've got a diskful of recipes, including white gingerbread, that I
can't find.  The recipe is from one of the late period English cookbooks, and
has sugar and anise in it (and possibly breadcrumbs and white wine, but don't
quote me on that).  Does this sound familiar to anyone, and if so can you post
the recipe - pretty please?
