Don't feel too bad, Stefan. I've been trying for about the same length of time to get one together at Estrella, with just about the same results. This year, I'm just telling people to look me up at Aten Baronial encampment. I doubt if I'll be around much during the day, since I'll probably be driving one of the shuttles most of the time, but if you do see me on the shuttle, please introduce yourself, and we'll try to plan something. I'll probably be too wiped out Thursday night, but, I'm willing to try even then. You guys just don't know how much I look forward to meeting you all.

Do folks want to have a SCA-Cooks get-together this year? I have tried
to host one for the past three Gulf Wars. The first one was an on-the-spur-
of-the-minute thing arranged at the War, but it got rained out anyway.
Yeah, Gunthar I think you remember that GW. :-) The first one had a fair
turnout, but most of the folks were not on this list. The second one only
one other SCA-Cooks person ever showed up besides my wife and myself. So,
I suspect it is time for someone else to host it. Maybe more folks will
show up.
