If you would like to use the brass and copper pitchers for food without the metal taste or
to be safe for human consumption you can coat the inside with envirotech. It is a two part
resin you can get at the local craft store. It comes in a purple and white box. It can
withstand heat as well as cold. We have used it on several of our things. It works great.
