Snickerdoodles are a sugar cookie that is rolled in cinnamon sugar rather than just plain sugar. They tend to get a bit dry & crunchie, rather than staying soft like traditional homemade chocolate chip cookies. This is probably because they contain about 12% more flour than chocolate chippers--makes them easier to roll into balls, then into the sugar. My recipe is pretty standard, but I will try to get in on the list later this evening.
Hopefully this heat will break, and we will all be baking soon.
