[Sca-cooks] Re gold leaf adornments

I know you guys have discussed gold leafing vs. gold powder at length
already and so I apologize for bringing it back up .   I have seen
documentation on gold leafing but I haven't seen anything about gold
powder as far as cooking is concerned.  I know they used gold powder for
manuscripts but would they have used it in cooking?
