actually, being known for a somewhat smart mouth and educated posterior, i 
would probably remind them that the loaves and fishes happended 2000 yrs 
ago, and even if it happened for that event, they'd probably only get the 
bread, and wonder bread at that.

i would probably remind them it is a volunteer organization, and volunteers 
need a bit more consideration than that if you want them to keep 
volunteering.

if the menu were simple enough, with simple ingredients and recipes, with 
room to substitute no questions asked, it could be done.  i can make a dime 
sing madadme butterfly, i pinch pennies so tightly on a feast budget, but i 
don't think i would volunteer in that particular venue again.

my two pinched pennies worth...
