actually, i WAS planning on the pears in wine syrup with 
the rys stondynge, french iowtes and chicken in the 
lombard manner.

i am trying to put something sweetish in each meat course.

i tried the canned salmon based tart from the posted feast 
at carrick fergus, and they are wonderful!  tiny bits, as 
i make them, and very good.  but then we like fish in our 
house.
