OK, let's get sane here.  (for me to have to be the voice of reason is just *too* weird)

William said he had mead in AN ICE CUBE TRAY.  It would take prissiness of galactic magnitude for the ATF, District Attorney and judge to say that EVERY person who pours leftover wine into an ice cube tray is illegally distilling spirits.  And while they're at it, they'll have to prosecute a myriad of cookbook and household hint writers for TELLING people to pour leftover wine into ice cube trays.  The judge probably has some merlot in an ice cube tray, for all that.

Yes, it fits the letter of the law, but they'd have to be arresting you for something else for it to even come up.  And the judge would still bounce six "wine cubes" as just plain stupid.  The meth lab is another story....

Please drop the paranoia fest now.
