Stefan, did you see my nut molds last Pennsic?  A couple years ago I made 
molds from Sculpy.  I found that if you hunt to find the biggest shell and 
the absolute smallest nutmeat is the best.  I have often made marzipan 
almonds (yes, with the darker "skin" and the natural colour inside), in and 
out of the (sugarplate) shell, and the same with walnuts.  Quite fun.  
Cracks Chirhart up!  We have since discovered that tossing some of the 
marzipan nutmeats in with the spiced nuts is quite a treat too!
