Got a pressure cooker? In anycase you really should soak them overnight; I
shorten that process by putting the chick peas in a large bowl and pouring
boiling watern overthem and leaving them overnight.
Say the chickpeas take up six inches in depth in your pot, add a six inches
over that. How long it will take them to cook depends on if you soaked them
in cold or boiling water.
But if you are pressed for time, they can be done in ten minutes in a
pressure cooker!!!
