If you can take aspirin (so you can use willow), it is also an excellent remedy for fast systems (requiring emergency privy trips).  We usually just chew or swallow the bark, usually about 1/4 or the amount you would put in a vitamin capsule (often available empty from healthfood stores).  Yes, this is a very little amount.  It takes nearly nothing, and works really quickly and last virtually forever in your camping stuff.  

If your system cannot handle willow, most can use slippery elm bark in the same manner.

You never know when somebody somewhere might need this sort of thing.
