You guys are killing me!!!! I haven't given chocolate up for Lent, but
rather in the interest of making myself a smaller person. The South
Beach Diet does allow some chocolate, but not the kinds of things you're
talking about! The best thing I can do is to make Selene's "Dreaded
Mousse"...which I think I've figured out how to make and still have it
be allowable...mmmmmm.....

Maybe this works on South Beach and maybe it doesn't... Deirdre's on Atkins
and I take half a block of cream cheese a tablespoon or so of unsweetened
chocolate, an egg, a dash of DaVinchi syrup (optional) and about 35-40 drops stevia
and mix that all toghther and heat it in the microwave until it melts (about
a min. and change, call it a min. and 12 sec). Chill and serve. It's called a
mock danish, but she says it's more like cheesecake.

Just a suggestion...

There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please.
And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the
consequences. -- P. J. O'Rourke
