According to the cooks of King Richard II (not quite as high an authority 
as G*d), you take your salad veggies, "myng hem wel with rawe oile; lay on 
vyneger and salt, and serue it forth." I suggest doing a bit more mynging 
to stir in the vyneger and salt.
