[Sca-cooks] Where R we?

I R from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada (Barony of Castel Rouge in the brand 
spanking new Kingdom of Northshield)

I've been cooking for the dessert revel at Northshield Rapier Academy 
this weekend here in our local group.  I've made a few period munchies, 
plus a couple of modern ones that people always request at my house.  I 
also made a sugar paste griffon (AKA Ferdinand the Aneorexic 
Wonder-Griffon),  a sugar paste figure of the Queen with a White Scarf 
on her shoulder, in honor of it being a rapier event (unfortunately the 
main similarity they share is the same number of limbs :-) and an 
approximation of the garb she wore at Coronation) and a few other 
assorted sugar paste items; like walnut shells to stuff with small 
papers with verses written on them, quartered hard boiled eggs, playing 
cards and cinnamon sticks.

I've already taken some pictures and will take more at the event.  I'll 
let both this list and the Subtleties list know when the photos are posted.
