happy indeed!  the turkey was deep fried, the house didn't 
burn down, and the dinner was fairly tasty (tho i will 
never use mrs.cubbins or whatever her name is) stuffing 
mix again. might as well toast the bread meself.... and do 
better herbs too!

my turkey came with a 'gravy packet' which i tried. not 
too bad with more salt. pepper and sherry.  tho i like my 
own better.. this was waaaaaaaaaaaaay too brown.

shot the turkey with sherry in which some fresh rosemary 
was simmered.  pretty tasty.  and the husband monster was 
pretty pleased with himself for doing the turkey (tho his 
carving left MUCH to be desired).

no to leftovers and turkey/bacon/tomato on rye sammiches 
for the weekend! ;)
