Huzzah for you, Gunther!  I am convinced we have a little part of our brain
(which can grow to a larger part), that pops up with those really cool
comments that save situations.  Being "silly" with someone in a bad mood is
not a common trait that most folk have.  As a teacher I found that this
often defused the student who was trying to make trouble.  You deserve the
Shiny Cookie Award for the day!
