    Grandma Jenny's Oatmeal bread recipe:
In large mixing bowl 1 cup rolled or steel cut oats, 1/2 cup molasses {or
honey}, 1 teasp. salt, and 4 Tabs of butter. Pour 2 cups boiling water over
mixture & let sit 1 hour.

Put into a small bowl: 1/2 cup warm water and 1 Tablespoon active dry yeast.
Let sit until bubbly, then add to the oatmeal mixture.

Stir in 4 cups flour to the oatmeal mixture. When well incorporated, pour
unto counter & knead to firm up the dough. Return to bowl, cover and allow
to rise until doubled in bulk.

Punch down, knead & shape into loaves. Place in well-buttered loaf pans,
cover, and let rise until doubled.

Bake in 350 oven for approx. 50 minutes.

I'll let you know who ya need to "bump off" later . . . . . . . .
