The New York Times for Friday Sept. 3rd has an article titled
"Day at the Met, Pepper Mill at the Ready" by Mimi Sheraton.
It starts on page B21 in the Weekend Fine Arts Section and then concludes
on the full page on B 28. It discusses food in art at the Metropolitan
Museum of Art
in NYC. If you register or get onto the NYT site they even are offering
a multi-media slide show...

Also the New Yorker issue for Sept. 6th 2004 is the food issue and has a
number of
interesting articles in it on things like modern ketchup, iceberg
lettuce, and
pasta.
